Brian Martinez

Brian Martinez Sr. is a native Californian.  Born in San Francisco and raised on the San Mateo coast.  Brian spent 30 years as a civil servant working in the Public Works industry. Retiring as the manager of his department.  Brian discovered the Lost Sierra in 2013 while on a motorcycle trip and fell in love with the area.  Within 3 months he was a homeowner in Blairsden and became a part-time resident up until his retirement in 2022. 

He has experience in non-profit organizations and has been a board member over the years for both sports and fraternal organizations.  Brian has also been a community volunteer for many years in both his hometown Pacifica and now in Plumas County.  Brian comes from a construction background and has over 40 years of experience in the building and underground construction trades.  Brian's experience in volunteerism, organization, management and construction provides a great base for his position of Director.
