Every non-profit organization needs money to accomplish its goals, but without volunteers nothing would ever get done.
Our volunteers are the most valuable resource we have. Without their generous gift of time and talent, our communities would certainly be worse off.
Volunteering enriches our lives and makes us feel good knowing we are helping others in our community. We often grow from the experience and become better people in the process.
The Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council (MVSC) was formed in 2009 for the purpose of purchasing and restoring the historic White Sulphur Springs Ranch in Clio, California, for the benefit of the community, our schools, and our disabled children and disabled veterans. We have no paid staff and operate entirely with volunteers. Whether you are still in school, working, own a business or retired, we could use your help.
We need talented
Teachers
to help with our educational programs on the Ranch.
We need skilled trade workers such as
carpenters, licensed plumbers, electricians, painters, roofers, masons and
landscapers who can periodically assist with restoration work on this historic Ranch.
We need volunteers skilled in
graphic design, advertising, photography
and
audio-visual presentations to help with community outreach.
We need volunteers skilled in
grant writing and
capital fundraising to assist volunteer staff in each of these areas.
We need volunteers to assist with our
social media and our
newsletter,
and . . .
We need
volunteers who just want to help doing anything they can, like taking tickets at events, helping at one of our rummage sales, or working with our great volunteers at one of our fundraising activities.

Whatever your volunteer talents may be, we could use your help!
