Deb is longtime community volunteer. New to the Clio area in 2021, but a longtime Tahoe and Truckee resident, she served on the board of Directors for the Squaw Valley Institute, The Lake Tahoe Music Festival, The Tahoe Tallac Cultural Arts Association, The Lake Tahoe Economic Coalition and The North Lake Tahoe Resort Association and Chamber of Commerce and the Nevada Commission on Tourism. In 2003 Deb was named North Lake Tahoe’s Volunteer of the year by the North Lake Tahoe Chamber of Commerce.  Deb served on both the South Lake Tahoe School district School board as well as the North Lake Tahoe School Board for over 8 years combined.
 

Deb began her career in South Lake Tahoe as the Manager of Sales and Marketing for Heavenly Ski Resort before moving on the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority as the Director of Special Events. Her accomplishments in that position included development of many legacy events including the NBC Celebrity Golf Tournament, The Valhalla Arts and Music Festival, The Kokanee Salmon Festival, John Denver Celebrity Ski Classic, and the World’s Most Beautiful Ride Bike Festival. Beginning in 1995 she become founder and CEO of HD96 Marketing and Publishing, specializing in a brand strategy and tourism marketing and advertising.  

 

Deb’s career, volunteerism and pursuit of lifelong learning have given her an international perspective on non-profit work.  Deb worked with Asral NGO on issues related to women, children and poverty in Mongolia, as well as consulted, studied and volunteered on projects in Egypt, Bali, Peru, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, France, Ireland, Italy, and England.  Deb comes with over 20 years of experience as a board facilitator, and strategic planning consultant, in both the private and public sectors.

 

Deb resides in Clio’s Whitehawk Ranch with her husband E9 retired Sr. Master Chief Clinton Dudley, Former Master Chief in the Nevada Air National Guard and retired Wing Command Chief of the 144th Fighter Wing / California Air National Guard who also is a volunteer firefighter in our area working with the Volunteer Fire crew out of Sierraville and CalPine.
